Like I mentioned in the previous post, the demo is nearly done and if you wishlist the game on Steam you’ll get a notification when it’s out. If you’re interested in playtesting, let me know your details in this form.

As promised, the solution for the Corner Shop mini-puzzle is in the cover image. The first discrepancy was the can colors. Mr Rake seems to have been stocking the shelf of green pea cans with red tomato cans. The second discrepancy is the full basket of groceries and receipt at the checkout counter. The sign at the door has the word “Open” facing inside which means the store is closed but if the store is closed then whose basket of groceries is that?

Aunt Maya explains it: The killer must have entered the store when it was open but empty, pretended to shop for groceries and once at the checkout counter attacked Mr Rake. They then staged the crime scene to make it look like Mr Rake had fallen but made an error with the tomato cans. Finally, they turned the open sign around so no one would enter the store as they made their getaway.
